Contract Test & Repair Technician
6-12 months rolling contract

Are you an experienced Test and Repair Technician with strong fault-finding skills and a customer-focused approach? Join a specialist team supporting key projects within a professional and team-based environment.
You'll be responsible for testing, diagnosing, repairing and refurbishing a range of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies, ensuring products are returned to service quickly and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Test and inspect returned products in accordance with approved test procedures.
Diagnose faults and carry out fault-finding down to component level.
Assess and confirm reasons for return, including repair, refurbishment and warranty claims.
Maintain accurate service records, failure logs and product history documentation.
Work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to investigate issues and identify solutions.
Carry out manual testing using bespoke test equipment, Windows-based software and standard bench instruments.To succeed in the is role you will ideally have:
Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills on electronic and electro-mechanical products.
Ability to fault-find to component level using standard test equipment.
Experience using multimeters, power supplies and other bench-top test instruments.Hours: 8:00 / 8:30 – 16:30 / 17:00 Monday - Friday
