Contract Supervisor – FRA & Retrofit
Salary: £52,000 – £58,000 package
Sector: Social Housing
Location: South East London
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Contract Supervisor to join an established team delivering Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) remedial works and retrofit projects across social housing.
This is a hands-on operational role, responsible for overseeing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to a high standard across occupied residential properties.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise FRA remedial and retrofit works across social housing properties
Manage subcontractors and site operatives across multiple workstreams
Monitor programmes, quality and productivity
Ensure works are delivered in line with RAMS, health & safety and client requirements
Carry out site inspections and quality checks
Liaise with residents, client representatives and other stakeholders
Manage issues on site and drive works through to completion
Assist with project reporting, handovers and completion documentation
Support the Contract Manager and wider operational teamEssential Experience
Previous experience as a Contract Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Works Supervisor or similar
Experience delivering FRA, fire safety or remedial works
Experience working within social housing / occupied residential properties
Exposure to retrofit, planned works or refurbishment programmes
Strong subcontractor and site team management experience
Good understanding of health & safety, RAMS and quality requirements
Strong communication and resident liaison skillsDesirable
SMSTS / SSSTS
CSCS
Fire safety / FRA experience
Retrofit experience or relevant qualifications
Social housing planned works experience
