The Company:
Insurance repairs and damage restoration contractor that covers the width and breadth of the UK with both domestic and commercial customers.
The Role:
The Contracts Manager is responsible for delivering site based works and ensuring that these works are completed to a satisfactory quality and profitable standard. This includes a strong focus on achieving profit targets controlling estimates, sales values and direct costs across Residential and SME projects.
Areas of coverage include the postcodes - E, IG, RM, SS, CM & SG.
Responsibilities:
Deliver quality end to end projects with the trades team and subcontractors
Plan project delivery in line with the scope of works utilising scoping tools
Manage the resources efficiently and effectively in order to meet profit and productivity targets.
Prepare all relevant paperwork, including, on- site documents, to the pre-agreed company standard
Liaise with the loss adjusters and insurers and customers to maintain excellent communication throughout project delivery.
Ensure good lines of communication between trades and technicians
Ensure that Quality, Management, and Health & Safety procedures are both understood and fully implemented.
QM respond and action any audit action with both the operative and the QM and H&S department.
Plan and deliver monthly tool box talks for your team.
Ensure sufficient material stock is kept locally at the branch.
Arrange delivery of materials to each site to complete projects
Understand and implement the use of new procedures and materials.
Manage projects on site efficiently and cost effectively.
