A leading global manufacturer within a specialist market sector are looking to recruit an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join their Bristol operation. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of site-wide improvement programmes, champion Lean methodologies, and work closely with senior leadership to deliver sustainable operational improvements within a complex manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will enjoy significant autonomy and the chance to make a genuine impact on business performance.
The Role:
Lead operational improvement and business transformation initiatives to increase efficiency, quality, and performance of the departments.
Implement lean processes, governance, and continuous improvement practices across the organisation.
Partner with senior leaders to drive change, improve collaboration, and deliver measurable business results.
Coach teams to build a high-performance, process-driven culture.
Partner with senior leaders to shape operating models, resource requirements, capability development and business priorities.
Improve the quality of operational documents, such as work instructions and SOP's.
What we are looking for:
Degree educated in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or Industrial engineering - Desirable
Proven experience in an CI / operational excellence / business transformation role.
Good record of improving performance across complex/ product based businesses.
Strong understanding of operational excellence methods.
Experience operating at a strategic level.
