Description:

Gleeson is working with a Global Automation Business currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager
to spearhead strategic growth initiatives.

This pivotal role offers the opportunity to oversee complex, high-value projects spanning transport, warehousing, supply chain, and advanced automation, ensuring the business continues to scale with agility and precision.

Salary: £50,000 + bonus

Key Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through to successful implementation and review.
Identify, develop, and deliver continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency and business performance.
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
Ensure projects are delivered in line with governance frameworks, business priorities, and reporting standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects and improvement programmes.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Translate business requirements into clear, actionable project deliverables and improvement plans.
Support product range management and lifecycle activities, including new product introductions.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure commercially successful and timely product launches.
Contribute to procurement and sourcing initiatives that improve value, cost efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks relating to budgets, resources, suppliers, and project delivery.
Drive problem-solving activities and implement sustainable solutions to minimise disruption and improve performance.
Monitor KPIs, project outcomes, and business improvement metrics to measure success.
Produce regular progress reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
Utilise data analysis and business insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement strategies.

Ideal Experience

Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement, Project Management, Operational Excellence, or related role.
Experience within FMCG, retail, logistics, distribution, or a fast-paced operational environment.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrable experience implementing process improvement methodologies and driving change initiatives.
Experience working closely with suppliers and managing product lifecycle activities.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach.
Relevant project management qualification such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma would be advantageous.
