Scout is currently recruiting for a creative, organised and hands-on Content Executive to join our clients growing marketing team.
With a focus on email marketing, organic social media and graphic design, you’ll create engaging, high-quality content across multiple channels, taking projects from brief to publication. This is an ideal opportunity for a confident marketing all-rounder who enjoys producing great content, working at pace and taking ownership of their work.
Key Responsibilities
* Create, build, test and schedule email marketing campaigns.
* Write engaging copy for emails, social media, blogs and campaigns.
* Create and publish organic social media content.
* Design branded graphics and marketing assets using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
* Support customer stories, case studies and wider marketing campaigns.
* Adapt content for different audiences and channels while maintaining brand consistency.
* Proofread and quality-check all content before publication.
* Collaborate with colleagues to deliver marketing activity on time and to a high standard.
* Ensure marketing communications meet relevant FCA, GDPR and financial promotion requirements.
About You
You’re a creative and proactive marketer with a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills and the ability to turn a brief into polished, engaging content.
You’ll have:
* At least two years’ marketing experience within an in-house team or agency.
* A portfolio or examples of email, social media and design work you’ve personally produced.
* Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot or Mailchimp.
* Strong copywriting, proofreading and graphic design skills.
* Confidence using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
* Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
* The ability to work independently, manage deadlines and collaborate effectively.
* Experience using AI tools to support content creation and productivity.
* Video editing, short-form video creation or CMS experience would also be an advantage.
