Their vision is to be the SME in their field and mission is to build the best network of verified partners from local trusted professionals, whilst saving clients time and money on moving services.
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity or a content manager to be working alongside a team of 4 content executives. With a focus on creating content that generates leads for their core services. You must have a good understanding of intent and the role that this plays in keyword rankings. The content manager will be passionate about content and SEO. You will be a creative thinker who can solve problems whilst also providing new ideas that can drive growth. This is about content for Google so not social media or email. There will be occasions where your happy to get your hands dirty and do some writing.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure content aligns with briefs and keyword intent, review content for SEO, and track performance using Search Console and Looker Studio.
* Identify and correct content team mistakes, and enforce high-quality standards.
* Collaborate with the Head of SEO on B2C content strategy and work with Sales and Partner Support on B2B content strategy.
* Lead, guide and motivate the content team to surpass their goals and targets ensuring a boost in lead generation from new and current content.
* Delegate tasks, provide guidance, monitor team performance, and conduct regular feedback meetings to ensure high productivity and address issues
* Identify opportunities for content improvement, implement new ideas, and enhance content with our unique data.
* Be ready to dive in, creating and optimizing both new and existing content for high value guides.
Skills & Experience
* Proven track record in developing and implementing effective content strategies using SEO best practices.
* Expertise in using Ahrefs, Search Console, Looker Studio and GA4 for content performance analysis and optimization.
* Strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a content team, ensuring high productivity and quality.
* Identify actionable insights and make data-driven decisions to enhance content strategies.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
