Content & Communications Manager - The Role:

The Content & Communications Manager will report into the Head of Brand, Communications& Content and will lead on the development and implementation of Trust Payments’ global communications & content strategy. 

This includes building a PR, email and content calendar, creating a writing process and delivery strategy, creating/writing content, contributing to social media posts, and ultimately, crafting interesting and well- researched PR, email and content that drives traffic and engages site visitors. 

Content & Communications Manager - Key Responsibilities:

- Manage important corporate communications – internally & externally in conjunction with other teams

- Design and undertake communication & content marketing strategies and set goals for these

- Develop comprehensive content and PR that meets Trust Payments standards

- Accountable for overseeing all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention with the help of specialists (freelancers/in-house/agencies) to see the plans through to delivery

- Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorisation and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.

- Develop editorial governance so all content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone

- Manage an editorial calendar and approval workflows

- Obtain a deep awareness of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content

- Write/commission user-friendly PR, email and content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success

- Oversee the development and maintenance of a content library including whitepapers, blogs, sales collateral, etc

- Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement

- Collaborate with video, design and writing teams to produce high quality content

- Manage award entries; creation of newsletters [internal and external] and speaking opportunities

- Edit, proofread and improve content where required

- Work with our SEO agency to optimise content 

Content & Communications Manager - You:

- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics

- Previous experience writing content and procedural materials for multiple audiences

- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail

- Ability to develop, organise, and maintain process documentation

- Ability to create, update, and maintain training documents

- Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills

- Must be able to respond quickly in an environment of changing priorities

- Must be able to set relevant priorities on a daily basis as the job requires

- An uncompromising approach to hitting deadlines

- Be results-oriented; proven ability to prioritise, drive and achieve results through self and others under time pressure

- Strong knowledge of content marketing and PR strategy and channels
