Conducting habitat and protected species surveys
Report writing
Completing tender and fee estimates
Project Management on technical projectsTo be considered for the Consultant Ecologist position, you will need:
Proven experience as an Assistant Ecologist or Consultant Ecologist.
Working towards, or already holding a protected species licence.
Have good botanical knowledge, ideally hold a FISC L3.
Be an excellent communicator with the ability to write clear, concise reports.
Knowledge of relevant aspects of UK and EU environmental Legislation and national and local planning policies and processes.
Associate / Full CIEEM Membership or able to demonstrate ability to obtain membership.
Hold a degree in a related subject.
