Consultant Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Consultant Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist to join an inpatients service in South Wales.

Role snapshot:
The candidate appointed will be joining, and managing, a well-established MDT who provide integrated care and treatment for adult service users with complex neuropsychiatric conditions, typically with associated challenging behaviour. Presentations may include dementia, Huntingtons disease, alcohol-related brain damage, and acquired brain injury. The successful candidate will help develop the psychological input within this hospital.

Contract type – permanent
Hours – both part time and full time will be considered
Salary - £71,400 - £97,800 FTE

Experience required:
Due to the seniority of this role, those applying will have extensive experience working as a Principal or consultant Psychologist within neuropsychological services. Those who have worked in older peoples services are encouraged to apply.
