Construction Tutor - Multi-Skills

Location: Sunderland

£30,000 - £38,000 + 40 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + 36-Hour Week + Career Progression + Excellent Benefits

In this role, you will deliver practical Multi-Skills Construction training across a variety of trade disciplines, supporting both young learners and adult learners throughout their qualifications. You'll plan engaging sessions, monitor learner progress and help individuals develop the practical skills, confidence and behaviours needed to succeed within the construction industry.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in a Construction trade such as Bricklaying, Plastering, Carpentry & Joinery or Painting & Decorating. Teaching experience would be advantageous, although industry professionals looking to move into education will also be considered.

The Role
*Delivering practical Multi-Skills Construction training
*Delivering engaging workshop and classroom-based sessions
*Supporting learner progress, achievement and employability
*Working within a modern Construction Academy
*36-hour working week
*Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-4:30pm
*Friday: 8:30am-3:00pm
*Occasional evening and weekend delivery with TOIL or overtime where applicable

The Person
*Level 3 qualification in a Construction trade
*Background in Bricklaying, Plastering, Carpentry & Joinery, Painting & Decorating or similar
*Teaching experience desirable but not essential
*Passion for developing others
*Strong practical and communication skills
*Looking for a long-term career within education
*Positive attitude and commitment to learner success
