Construction Superintendent
£67,700 - £80,800 Per Annum (depending on experience)
37.5 Hours Per week
Location- Fife
PLEASE NOTE: Flexible working hours (overtime and weekend working) will be required as part of this role. In some instances, night shifts may be required.
Previous petrochemical experience advantageous.
Our client is looking to strengthen and expand our site construction team due to a growing project portfolio. Successful candidates will work closely within the site integrated project delivery team and with our site execution contractors and specialists.
About the role:
Responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling the day-to-day field operations for the assigned crafts and subcontractors
Assist in preparation and review for submittals, RFIs and RFCs and make recommendations regarding suitability
Review contractor health and safety plans, traffic control and erosion control measures on projects
A typical scope of responsibility would be Field Superintendent or Area Superintendent.
Key responsibilities:
Verify quantities for payment
Identify non-conformance issues with construction work and help develop potential resolution of non-conformance issues
May serve as the lead Company representative at sub-sites where the Construction Site Manager or Construction Site Lead typically does not reside
Provide construction core competency expertise when assigned to the function
Ensure good communications and relations with the contractors
Desired skills and qualifications:
Experience in-field Construction planning, execution, and completions
Willing to travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites
Past Construction Superintendent experience on major capital project
Familiar with Construction Materials Testing procedures and ASTM standards
Ambitious with desire to provide excellent service to clients
This role will require a drug and alcohol testing along with a DBS as part of the on-boarding/vetting process
