Construction Site Supervisor
Contract - 12 weeks

1st Step Solutions are working on behalf of a National Contractor that have a requirement for a Black Hat Supervisor to join them on a 12 week contract.
A Supervisor with a brickwork trade is required although, should the candidate but well averse with construction sites, then any trade would be considered.
Duties:
- Inducting new operatives on site.
- Monitoring and reporting on progress to site engineer.
- Maintaining site records including mandatory site inspection, tool inspections, welfare inspections, etc.
- Maintaining site compounds and signage.
- Reviewing method statement and risk assessments.
- Issue of daily permits and signing off.
- Liaising with the University to co-ordinate site works on the campus.
- Organising and co-ordinating site deliveries.
- Inspecting sub-contractors works including civils and brick work and completing Quality check sheets.
- Inspecting temporary works.
Requirements:
- CSCS Skill Card in Brick Work on a construction related trade.
- SMSTS.
- Previous experience within a Supervisor role on civil and brickwork packages
