Description:
Elvet Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Site Manager on behalf of a long-standing regional construction main contractor to run an initial project in Leeds.
An established contractor with family-run roots, now operating with a turnover of circa. £70m. They have a strong managerial team leading their busy pipeline of work in the region and are now looking for experienced Site Manager to add to their core team.
Initial project is a new build multi-story building in Leeds.
Further projects include: commercial & industrial sheds, extensions, fit outs etc.
From £1m to £20m.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines.
* Produce construction phase plans and programming works.
* Writing and updating RAMS.
* Liaison with design, commercial, client and stakeholders
* Co-ordination of sub-contractors.
* Progress reports and meetings with senior management and clients.
* Managing supply chain.
Experience:
Must have:
* Experience managing construction projects covering steel frame new build with values of £5m.
* Experience managing construction projects covering high spec internals/fit-outs.
* Experience with design & build delivery as number 1 on site.
* Qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid are essential.
Nice to have:
* Engineering background, working from Site Engineer to Site Manager.
* Degree qualified or HNC/HND qualified.
Remuneration:
A salary of up to £57,500 (dependant upon experience) plus: company vehicle or allowance, fuel card, annual leave, pension scheme, private healthcare and other benefits.
