This is your chance to join a collaborative and supportive team at a leading consultancy firm, playing a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a new-build nuclear power station at Hinkley Point C. We offer a unique opportunity to leverage your construction expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working alongside some of the industry's brightest minds.

In this action-oriented role, you'll be responsible for:

Leading and planning all aspects of site progress within a major alliance framework, ensuring timely installation of key plant and equipment.
Meticulously tracking project delivery against defined scope and quantities, generating clear and concise reports for stakeholders on a weekly basis.
Utilising your construction knowledge to understand technical details, delivery techniques, and potential risks associated with the project.
Interfacing seamlessly with on-site delivery teams, fostering open communication and collaborative problem-solving.
Identifying and articulating potential risks to project delivery with clarity and precision, ensuring proactive mitigation strategies are implemented.
Leveraging your IT proficiency (particularly in the Microsoft suite) to manage and control data effectively within core project systems.
To be successful in this role, you'll possess:

Proven project management experience, ideally gained within a construction site environment.
A strong grasp of construction principles, methodologies, and associated delivery risks.
A strong understanding of the need for excellent planning and scheduling, ideally in an environment which uses Primavera P6
The ability to handle and report complex information with accuracy and clarity.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration with diverse teams on-site.
A proactive and inquisitive approach, readily identifying and addressing potential challenges.
A genuine passion for the construction and infrastructure sector, and a desire to contribute to a landmark nuclear project.

The Benefits:

Work alongside a talented and supportive team in a collaborative company culture.
Gain invaluable experience on a high-profile nuclear new-build project.
Develop your expertise in project management and construction delivery.
Enjoy relocation benefits (if applicable) or paid travel and accomodation with the role fully expensed by the company.
Make a real difference by contributing to the delivery of critical national infrastructure.
Salary is open to suggestion but likely within a rough banding or £60-80K plus package.

This is not your typical project management role. We're seeking a results-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses a genuine passion for construction. If you're ready to take your project management career to the next level and contribute to a groundbreaking project, then we want to hear from you.
