Manage project commercial activities, including contract administration, contractor payment applications, procurement, variations, claims and contractual compliance.

Monitor construction programmes, project milestones and contractor performance, identifying potential delays, risks and opportunities for improvement.

Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with approved designs, quality standards and contractual requirements.

Ensure compliance with CDM 2015, environmental permits, COMAH and health and safety requirements, while providing regular project reporting and supporting the delivery of future biomethane facilities.

Required qualifications and experience

To be considered, you must have:

10+ years' experience in project management within energy, renewables, biogas, biomethane, waste-to-energy, chemicals or similar complex process industries.

Proven experience managing major construction projects through to successful commissioning, completion and handover.

Strong commercial and contractual experience, including contract administration under NEC, FIDIC or IChemE contracts, payment applications, variations and claims.

Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, EPC contractors, external consultants and project stakeholders.

A degree in Engineering, Project Management, Energy or a related discipline, alongside a working knowledge of CDM 2015 and construction health and safety requirements.

Desirable experience

It would be an advantage, but is not essential, to have:

Previous experience delivering anaerobic digestion, biomethane, biogas upgrading or other renewable energy process facilities.

Chartered status (CEng, MAPM, PMP or equivalent), alongside additional project management qualifications such as PRINCE2 or Lean Six Sigma.
