Are you a Construction Planner with experience across Civil Engineering or Highways projects, looking to join a well-established contractor with an extensive forward order book and long-term framework agreements across the Northwest?

Do you have strong knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts and advanced MS Project experience, looking for a technically varied position where you will take programmes from tender and pre-construction to final delivery?

The company are a Civil Engineering and Highways contractor who have over 75 years of experience delivering infrastructure projects throughout the Northwest of England.

They work extensively with local and transport authorities, delivering complex schemes including highways improvements, drainage, junction upgrades, public infrastructure and associated civil engineering works.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction Planner to join a highly regarded contractor where you will play an integral role in planning major civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

The Role:

Produce, maintain and update detailed NEC3 and NEC4 compliant construction programmes
Develop programmes across tender, pre-construction and live contract stages
Extract key information from construction drawings, specifications and tender documentation
Develop detailed programmes using Microsoft Project
Work closely with Estimators, Project Managers, Engineers, Commercial teams, Traffic Management Managers and site teams
Ensure programmes accurately reflect construction methodologies, sequencing and project requirements
Develop programmes for works within live traffic and other constrained environmentsThe Person:

Background within Civil Engineering or Highways
Working knowledge of NEC3 and / or NEC4 contracts
