Job Title: Construction Multi Skills Tutor

Location: Rochester

Salary: £25,000 – £34,000 (Dependant on Experience)

The Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Construction Multi Skills Tutor to join their team in Medway. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction professional or multi-trade specialist to inspire the next generation of learners and support them in developing practical skills and confidence.

As the Construction Multi Skills Tutor, you will deliver engaging, hands-on training across Level 1 Multi Skills Construction, helping learners progress into further education, apprenticeships, or employment.

About You

Our client is looking for someone who is:

* Experienced in Construction Multi Skills (e.g. Plastering, Joinery, Painting & Decorating, Bricklaying, or general multi-trade)

* Passionate about teaching, training, and inspiring learners

* Confident delivering practical, engaging sessions to diverse groups

* Organised, reliable, and an excellent communicator

Qualifications & Requirements – As the Construction Multi Skills Tutor

* Industry-recognised qualification in Construction/Multi Skills

* Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)

* Level 2 English and Maths (or willingness to achieve)

* Experience in construction industry essential

* FE teaching experience desirable

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver practical, engaging construction training sessions

* Plan and deliver lessons tailored to learner needs

* Support learners with individual progression plans and goals

* Provide mentoring, guidance, and pastoral support

* Track and report learner progress effectively

* Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and quality standards are met

* Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment

* Conduct risk assessments for all practical activities
