Construction Manager – CAT A | Cambridge
£65,000 + Package | Permanent Position
An exciting opportunity to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor as a Construction Manager, working on a high-end, flagship commercial project in Cambridge.
The role will focus on the delivery of CAT A floor works, managing subcontractors and coordinating key packages including raised access floors, ceilings, MEP installations, core services, life safety systems and landlord finishes.
About the Role

Manage the delivery of CAT A works safely, to programme and to a high-quality standard.
*
Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials and site activities.
*
Manage interfaces between trades and work closely with MEP and structural teams.
*
Monitor progress, resolve issues and drive works through to completion.
*
Support inspections, commissioning and snag-free handover.
*
Provide leadership across the site team and maintain strong health & safety standards.
About You
*
Proven experience as a Construction Manager on similar-sized projects.
*
Strong commercial fit-out / CAT A experience.
*
Strong site-based construction experience, ideally within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor environment.
*
Strong subcontractor, programme and trade coordination skills.
*
Current CSCS Manager Card, SMSTS and First Aid.
*
Strong leadership and communication skills.
*
Must have a strong and stable employment history, with proven long-term tenures within Tier 1/Tier 2 contractors.
