Role: Construction Manager (E&P/P&D)
Location: Midlands or Cheshire
Job Type: 12 months minimum contract
Rate: £400-£500/day
Morson Vital are recruiting an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the safe delivery of rail Electrification & Plant (E&P) and Power & Distribution (P&D) projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong site management expertise and a solid understanding of CDM Regulations within a rail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
???? Lead and coordinate site construction activities across E&P and P&D projects.
???? Ensure full compliance with CDM 2015, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
???? Manage contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
???? Monitor programme, quality, and productivity to achieve project objectives.
???? Conduct site inspections, risk reviews, and ensure effective implementation of safe systems of work.
Requirements:
???? Proven experience as a Construction Manager within the rail sector.
???? Strong background in E&P and Power & Distribution infrastructure projects.
???? Sound knowledge of CDM Regulations, construction safety, and rail standards.
???? Experience managing multidisciplinary site teams and contractors.
???? PTS and relevant rail construction certifications preferred
