Construction Manager – St Albans
Tier 1 Fit Out Contractor | Freelance
I’m currently looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join a Tier 1 Fit Out Contractor delivering commercial projects in St Albans.
The role will involve leading the delivery of CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out projects, working closely with the wider project team through to completion.
The Role:
* Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects.
* Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
* Driving the construction programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
* Managing quality, health & safety and overall site performance.
* Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team.
* Coordinating works from pre-construction through to practical completion.
* Ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard and in line with programme requirements.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience as a Construction Manager on commercial fit-out projects.
* Strong CAT A & CAT B experience.
* Comfortable managing multiple subcontractors and site teams.
* Strong understanding of programme, quality and health & safety.
* Experience working for a Tier 1 or established fit-out contractor would be beneficial.
* Good communication skills with the ability to lead a project from start to finish.
