The Opportunity
The business is currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join its operational team on a prestigious £40m commercial cut & carve scheme in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity to become involved in a substantial and technically complex commercial refurbishment project, working alongside an experienced management team and playing a key role in the successful delivery of the scheme.
The project will require strong technical knowledge, excellent subcontractor management and the ability to coordinate multiple construction packages within a challenging Central London environment.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing key elements of the construction process, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of key construction packages on a £40m commercial cut & carve scheme.
Manage specialist subcontractors, ensuring effective sequencing, coordination and delivery of works.
Oversee complex refurbishment and structural alteration activities, coordinating closely with the wider project team.
Develop, monitor and manage short-term construction programmes to ensure key milestones are achieved.
Identify potential programme, logistical and technical challenges, implementing solutions to minimise disruption.
Coordinate site logistics, subcontractor interfaces, deliveries and material requirements within a constrained Central London environment.
Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality assurance and workmanship throughout all stages of construction.
Attend progress meetings, provide programme updates and support the wider management team in achieving project objectives.
