Construction Manager Opportunity with a Tier 1 Contractor working in the water & civil engineering sector
The position will be based near Maidstone
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right Construction Manager
Responsibilities of the Construction Manager role
* Build and maintain project/site teams
* Ensure site management teams produce accurate weekly and monthly site returns
* Support commercial team t
* Manage subcontract packages,
* Build effective relationships with the supply chain.
* Monitor & support the delivery team
* Ensure site operations comply with environmental legislation
* Ensure project managers produce and maintain detailed construction programmes
* Provide information to enable the project programmer to update the master project
* Monitor resource
* Review and update commercial forecast
* Review the buildability of designs
* Develop and review construction methodologies .
* Lead integration of Civils and Earthworks scopes on site
* Develop effective relationships with the client
* Assist in the production of monthly progress reports for client
Role Requirements of the Construction Manager
* Ideally you have worked on a water or wastewater treatment works project. Otherwise a good background on civil engineering projects
* Health, Safety and Environmental Management (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate
* Recognised Civil Engineering/Site Management degree
* Previous Construction Management experience on large scale projects
