Protocol Education is looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Construction (Built Environment) Lecturer to join an established Further Education provider in Hartlepool.

This is an excellent opportunity to use your construction knowledge and industry experience to inspire and develop the next generation of construction professionals.

You’ll be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing a range of Construction and Built Environment programmes for post-16 and adult learners, including:

Level 3 Construction/Built Environment Diplomas
HNC/HND programmes
Civil Engineering courses
We’re interested in hearing from experienced lecturers as well as construction professionals looking to make the move into teaching.

About the Role:

Deliver engaging vocational and theory-based Built Environments lessons
Support learners to develop the technical and practical skills required for the construction industry
Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with curriculum requirements
Assess learner progress and provide effective feedback and support
Maintain a safe, positive and professional learning environment
What we are looking for:

Relevant Level 3 or higher Construction qualification (or similar) 
Strong industry experience within Construction and relevant trade knowledge
Teaching or training experience within FE, apprenticeships or a similar environment is desirable
A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, although industry experience will be considered
Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
