Concrete Sampling & Testing Technician
Location: Sizewell C, Leiston
Pay: Dependant on Experience
Duration: Approximately 20 weeks
Contract type: PAYE
Hours: Up to 10-hour shifts
Valid CSCS Card required
Our client is a specialist construction services provider delivering technical support, testing and site-based solutions to major infrastructure and civil engineering projects throughout the UK. We are looking for concrete testing technicians to undertake concrete sampling and testing duties on the Sizewell C project in Leiston, Suffolk.
Working on a major civils project, you will be responsible for carrying out concrete sampling and site testing activities, maintaining accurate records and liaising with site and office teams.
Duties
* Conduct concrete slump and flow tests
* Take concrete samples
* Produce and manage concrete test cubes
* Complete daily records and testing documentation
* Liaise with site management and office staff
* Follow all site health & safety procedures
Requirements
* Experience in construction, civils, groundworks, piling or materials testing
* Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills
* Ability to work independently on a busy construction site
* Full UK driving licence preferred
