We are working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to develop their career within a positive school environment.
The role
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
Plan and deliver lessons that inspire pupils to develop their digital and problem-solving skills
Teach topics including programming, algorithms, computer systems and digital technology
Maintain high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school
Contribute positively to the life and culture of the school
We’re looking for someone who:
Has QTS or relevant teaching experience
Has strong subject knowledge within Computer Science or a related discipline
Can confidently engage and motivate secondary-aged pupils
Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to helping pupils achieve their potential
Is an experienced teacher or ECT looking for their next challenge
