Composite Laminator

Description:

Manpower is recruiting a Composite Laminator with our client who are one of Northern Irelands most innovative engineering companies, manufacturing zero-emission boats from their modern facility in Belfast.

Working within the Vessel Assembly Team, you will build high quality composite parts working with Prepreg composites.

Monday to Friday hours 7.30am - 3.30pm as part of multi-skilled team with a strong focus on quality and world class engineering facilities!

Suitable candidates will need experience of composite assembly, such as pre-preg and wet laminating.

The Role:

Trimming, assembly and fitting of composite parts
Handling of carbon, e-glass and foam materials
Cutting an laying of prepreg materials
Prepare and assemble mould/ tooling
Vacuum bagging and cooking of parts
Painting with epoxy paints
Work in other areas of production as part of a team if required
Work to high quality standards and H&S

What we are looking for:

Experience in composites prepreg and wet laminating
Preferably hold an apprenticeship such as Engineering, Composites or similar
Experience of mechanical assembly/ composite fitting
Can work as a high performing team and maintain high quality
Can read engineering drawings and manuals
High standard of quality and attention to detail
