Component Application Leader

Working for a global manufacturer at the Gillingham operations, as Component Application Leader, you will be leading technical projects and will be working cross-functionally with product and manufacturing engineering, project management and with Customer Managers to support specified customers. This will include the preparation and presenting of design reviews, meeting regularly by Teams to ensure customer requests are met to a high standard.

Following EOS framework and procedures, the ability to execute tasks to achieve project objective including cost, quality and timings, which will result in provision of report, presentations and technical documentation for both internal departments and external customers.

As an analytical thinker, you will be able to apply engineering standards, procedures and methodologies to executive project activities, solving problems and analysing technical gaps in requirements to include specifications and BOMs, DFMEA, simulations and defining validation plans. You will lead design preparations and reviews and have a keen eye on project timings for successful delivery.

About you

You will degree educated or possess equivalent experience from within an engineering business of discipline. You must have demonstrable customer-facing experience and significant product knowledge for FIE components or systems. Ideally, with a system integration and calibration background with experience of managing teams, your ability to understand product systems and functionality will be at the fore of your knowledge.
