Job title: Compliance Officer

Contract type: Temporary ongoing
Weekly hours: 35

The hiring manager is looking for a candidate with Experience of working within Asset Management or Compliance service, especially within a social housing environment. Understanding of Compliance areas and requirements on housing organisations. Proven experience of performance-based management through KPI's in a customer focused environment. Experience of managing and analysing large data sets, and ensuring taking responsibility for quality compliance data.

Key Accountability's

Book appointments, update calendars, arrange travel and accommodation as required.
Provide administrative support to the Compliance Managers.
Provide project support to the team and lead on key administrative projects as required.
Support the management and monitoring of relevant compliance contracts.
Assist others in the department to ensure efficient and effective administrative practices.
Deal with telephone calls, emails, CRM's and written correspondence as necessary.
Liaison with members of staff in other departments and external contacts.
Monitor group e-mail inboxes
Resolve administrative and other queries related to the work of the department.
Work with complaints team to progress complaints to resolution
Develop and maintain compliance administrative and office systems.
Ensure records on Apex and other databases are accurate and up to date.
Ensure data interfaces are functioning with issues identified and corrected.
Process invoices as necessary.
Understand the requirements of the management plans and procedures
Assist with hard to access properties including cold call visits, stickering.
Attend to court as necessary.
Contribute to the production and execution of quality checking regimes for both internal and external operations.
Assist in monitoring and production of performance reports.
Assist in the delivery of on time remedial activity.
Process documentation that validates the closure of remedial activity.Essential criteria:

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with tenants external agencies and associations both verbally and in writing.
Numerate with good analytical skills.
Ability to analyse statistical and other information and produce manager reports.
Able to write clear and accurate reports which highlight areas for attention and which support compliance.
Able to plan and prioritise to ensure the effective use of own time and that of other staff, and the delivery of work plans to timetable, often under pressure.
