Our client is seeking a Compliance Officer on a full-time permanent basis to join their supportive and friendly team. This is a superb opportunity as roles within this remit come up far and few within my clients business - not to mention it's immediately available for the right candidate! Our client likes to broaden their teams knowledge and make them multi-skilled within the workforce, to enhance not only your knowledge and responsibilities but to also fulfil the high level of service they provide.

Our client is offering a competitive remuneration of £25,000 - £27,000 dependant on experience, 25 days holiday in addition to Public Bank Holidays, auto enrolment pension scheme, free on-site car-parking all entwined within working hours of Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30.

This position requires someone with high attention to detail, accuracy and initiative. You'll be responsible for providing bespoke and routine customer reports as requested supporting the compliance Manager in reporting to meet requirements of regulatory authorities and our customers.

Your day to day duties shall include of:-

• Populate and submit data for customer reports by required deadlines.
• Implement & validate reporting for existing and new customers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance reporting is completed correctly and in line with the EA’s regulatory timetable for the company correctly & on time.
• Provide administrative assistance on internal Regenerist system.
• Support the Compliance Manager with EA and Customer Audits, supply any support information required on the day.
• Support Customer Services and Peace of Mind during peak periods also providing holiday/absence cover.
• Complete daily internal and external weighbridge ticket checks.
• Maintain the internal consignment note model system.
• Maintaining existing customer records, updating contracts and information when needed, setting up new contracts too.
• Add data to external customer portals ensuring deadlines met.
• Any other duties required by the Compliance Manager

All candidates must have the following req

• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate/advanced skills in Excel (formula's, pivot table & v look-up)
• Be methodical and meticulous
• Well-organised and focussed
• Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, and flexible approach
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multi-task
• Experience in waste management industry desirable but not essential
