Our client is an innovator in the online Gaming and Leisure Industry, and they are seeking a seasoned Compliance Manager to spearhead their Comprehensive Compliance Program.

They are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Professional to join their dynamic team.  In this critical position, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity of their operations, and ensuring they adhere to the highest Ethical and Legal Standards across all facets of their business.

They are primarily looking for someone with at least 2 years’ experience as a Compliance Manager within the Gaming Industry, however, some training will be given as well as necessary online courses to keep up to date with current legislation changes within the industry.

Job Type:

Full-time, Permanent.
£45,000 - £50,000, dependent on experience.
Hybrid working with 2-3 days a week in the office.
Living within a 50–60-mile radius of HU7 OAP.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of a robust compliance program encompassing online gaming regulations, data protection laws (e.g., GDPR), anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, and responsible gambling practices.
Conduct regular risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential compliance vulnerabilities.
Maintain a deep understanding of evolving regulatory landscapes within the online gaming industry, advising senior management on necessary adaptations to ensure continued compliance.
Oversee the effectiveness of KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML procedures to prevent financial crime and adhere to industry best practices.
Manage and champion responsible gambling initiatives, prioritising player protection and ensuring adherence to industry guidelines and best practices.
Design and deliver comprehensive compliance training programs for staff at all levels, fostering a culture of ethical conduct within the organisation.
Foster strong relationships with regulatory bodies and external auditors, acting as a liaison for all compliance-related matters.
Prepare and maintain detailed compliance reports for senior management, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications and experience:

Experience in a regulatory lead industry.
Diploma of Higher Education (Preferred).

Skills required:

Ability to help, shape and steer a team within an ever-evolving regulatory framework.
Stay abreast of current UK GC regulations.
Ability to articulate your thoughts in a clear manner.
Proficiency in MS applications.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
