We are working exclusively with a growing, family-owned produce supplier, who are part of a wider group and who are dedicated to putting customers first, in the search for a Compliance Manager to join their team in Cambridgeshire. As the Compliance Manager you will be responsible for ensuring factory compliance with an emphasis on grower standards, including Red Tractor, Soil Association, and LEAF.

The person that will be successful as the Compliance Manager will:

As a group they hold a deep passion for farming and, through collaboration with farmers, they supply the biggest names in retail with the finest quality produce, all packed with care on-site. Building on from their long-standing retail partnerships they also hold equally strong relationships within wholesale and processing. With the agricultural nature of the business there is a large focus on sustainability, and they champion this with farming practices that benefit soil, wildlife, and environment. Their farming processes are complemented by wildlife strips that support biodiversity. It is a brilliant opportunity within a dynamic operation where you can make a significant impact, supporting their growth and an opportunity to have a say in shaping their future.

The experience you will need will be:

* Worked within a produce, horticulture, growing based environment or other transferable industry

* HACCP level 2 certification

* Good knowledge of BRC and customer codes of practice

* Experience leading internal audits and SEDEX knowledge

Some of the key responsibilities of the Compliance Manager:

* Ownership and implementation of QMS Policies, Processes and Procedures

* Nurture a high-performance of the Technical Team ensuring audit readiness at all time and promoting food safety awareness

* Delivery of departments KPI’s and own PDR objectives

* Assist the business in its ongoing Crop Utilisation commitment maintaining quality standards

* Coordinate the Grower Approval process for programmed and spot material purchases ensuring customer and legal requirements are met

* Maintain key strategic relationships with our grower base, current and future
