Are you a caring and dedicated Complex Needs Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity in a specialist educational setting?

A supportive and well-established Specialist School in Reading is seeking a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This role involves supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory needs, and communication difficulties.
As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to help pupils access learning, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals.
This Complex Needs Teaching Assistant role will involve:
Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with complex needs
* Assisting with communication and sensory-based activities
* Supporting pupils with personal care where required
* Helping to create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
* Working collaboratively with teaching and therapy teams
* Encouraging independence and confidence in pupilsThe ideal Complex Needs Teaching Assistant will be patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs. Previous experience within education, care, support work, or health settings would be highly beneficial.
