Complex Needs Teacher required for September 2024. This welcoming special school in East Birmingham is currently recruiting for an outstanding Complex Needs Teacher to join the team and lead a wonderful Key Stage 3 complex needs class. As a Complex Needs Teacher you will be teaching a class of 5/8 children, working closely with an outstanding team of teaching assistants. The school support children across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, with needs varying from moderate to complex.

Job Role: 

Teaching a small class of KS3 students with complex learning needs.  
Utilising Teaching Assistants to provide children with outstanding support.  
Ensuring that your class is a welcoming and nurturing environment for students. 
Planning lessons that are engaging and tailored to the ability levels in the class.  
Taking part in whole school activities and inspiring a love for learning.  
Working with a range of complex learning needs, utilising Makaton and PECs.  In return you will enjoy:
