Job description : Company Accounts Manager - Part Time/Full Time
Our client Advance Apparel is a London-based B2B apparel wholesaler which specializes in a variety of divisions, such as, Promotional Wear, Corporate Wear, Licensed Merchandise as well as catering for Bespoke requirements. They are currently the sole license holder for Cambridge University Merchandise as well as a license holder for Oxford University Merchandise. The company is an exciting and vibrant place to work, who are expanding into new areas of distribution and now require a Company Accounts Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
* Maintaining and reconciling intercompany entries.
* Responsible for checking all internal and external invoices, ensuring they are correct.
* Liaising with Admin and Sales to ensure daily operations are being completed efficiently.
* Promptly liaising with clients, following up on payment due dates
* VAT returns – Oversee the preparation and filing in accordance with relevant quarter end dates.
* Royalty Payments – Ensuring payments are made to our Licensor’s on time.
* Create, maintain and update all company spreadsheets accurately and in a timely manner.
* Undertake ad hoc tasks as directed by Senior Management Team and Directors.
* Review and enhancement of all current financial procedures and reporting.
* Ensure year-end financial reporting files and all relevant supporting evidence are available for external accountants.
* Liaise with external accountants.
* Lead external year end audit and be main point of contact for any queries.
* Payroll – Ensure staff hours are calculated accurately and ready for Director to approve on the last day of every month.
* Assisting the in ordering, production and delivery of reports
* Organising and preparing reports to a tight deadline.
* Ensure all relevant Balance Sheet nominals are reconciled and supporting schedules (accruals, prepayments etc) are provided.
Skills Needed:
* Must be able to use Xero Software
* 2 years + experience in accounting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A pro-active team player
* Able to work under a minimum supervision within a fast-paced environment
* Fully computer literate, with at least intermediate working knowledge of Excel and Word packages
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to handle all internal and external correspondence in a professional manner
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
