We are currently working with our client, a leading independent Estate & Lettings agent for an experienced and professional Finance Manager / Accounts .This is a fabulous opportunity to manage the entire accounts and payroll function of one of Sheffield’s most recognisable and prestigious names.

An all-rounder role, this busy and varied full time position will involve;

·Co-ordinating incoming / outgoing payments, BACS payments and reconciliations

·Responsible for the timely payroll of all internal staff

·Purchase / Sales ledger duties

·Dealing with contractor / customer queries to full resolution

·Aside from using Microsoft packages, using SAGE and an internal industry specific system (CFP)

·Assisting internal staff with queries

·Possibly some credit control duties as and when required

Aside from all these, we are keen to speak to someone who can recognise trends, and gather reports for the Directors, under their own initiative.

To be considered for this rare opportunity, it is expected you will have worked previously within finance as a Manager, or Accounts assistant / bookkeeper / Accounts Clerk and be ready to take on a lot more responsibility. You will be methodical, with a good eye for detail, and have excellent communication skills as you will be constantly dealing with queries from customers and contractors alike. It will be expected you will have an excellent knowledge of SAGE, and we would especially welcome applicants with experience / interest in property
