Job Title: Community Support Worker
Client Group:
Adults with Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviour
£14-17 per hour
08:45 – 16:30 Monday to Friday (36 hours per week) at a Day Centre
For this role you must have experience dealing with Learning Disabilities or Physical Disabilities and Autism.
With this role you will be working with Adults that have Learning Disabilities/Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour.
You will be supporting them throughout the day with indoor and outdoor activities into the community.
You must always engaging with them making sure their time at the centre is the best it can be by playing games and supporting them as well as promoting independence with a learning approach. they have loads of different activity rooms so the job is always fun.
The Day Centre like to site see with the clients and requires transferring service users from transport and into the centre.
You must:
* Hold a valid DBS (Conducted in the last 12 months)
*Must have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care at minimum for this role.
* Have at least 1-2 Years UK experience working with Adults with Learning Disabilities
* Have a good level of English (written & verbal) skills
* MUST be happy to provide personal care
*Understand the types of Learning Disabilities with great examples
If you have a DBS that is registered with the online update service, we can offer you work more quickly. You must be able to provide 5 years references and either have all mandatory training in date, or be prepared to complete this prior to starting your assignment.
