About the Role: Are you passionate about making a difference in the community? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dedicated team as a Project Coordinator for a meaningful initiative. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual to act as the primary point of contact for all aspects of this Community Support Scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the lead officer maintaining database systems.
* Liaise with the Department of Health, Levelling Up and Communities (DHLUC)
* Maintain accurate records of guest and host payments, and process thank you payments for hosts.
* Be the main point of contact for enquiries about the scheme from hosts, guests, council staff, councillors, community groups, individuals, partner agencies, and central government.
* Promote positive sponsor/guest relationships and provide ongoing support, including producing monthly host bulletins and organizing events.
* Project manage community engagement initiatives, collaborating with various groups and organizations.
* Manage the Guest Resettlement Support Package and maintain all associated records.
* Assist with booking property inspections, welcome payment appointments, and welfare checks.
* Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the Homes for Ukraine Scheme to support effective service delivery.
* Ensure all relevant databases and computer systems are accurate and updated according to Government requirements.
* Update and maintain timely records for all contacts and checks with hosts and guests, providing regular reports and responding to safeguarding concerns.
* Coordinate and support meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking actions.
* Attend council meetings and host/guest events as needed.
* Provide excellent customer service in line with our Customer Care charter.
* Comply with all relevant Health and Safety legislation.
