Description:

Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable young people and help them to re-engage with education?  Teacher Active is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Community Outreach Mentor to work with students who require an alternative approach to learning outside of a traditional classroom environment.

This is a genuine opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people with Special Eduicational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those from Alternative Provisions (AP) backgrounds.

You will support a small caseload of up to 5 students delivering education and mentoring within community based settings such as libraries, learning hubs and other suitable locations.

You will provide engaging and personalised learning across a range of subjects, helping students build confidence.

Essential Requirements-

- A full drivers licence

-Access to your own vehicle for daily travel between community locations

-Enhanced DBS on update service

-Right to work in the UK
