Requirements:

Valid GMC registration and license to practice in the UK
Right to work in the UK
Completion of clinical attachment in CAMHS
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist, with significant experience in CAMHS
Section 12 approval is desirable
Duties:

Provide expert psychiatric assessment and treatment to children and adolescents in the community setting
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments and multidisciplinary input
Work collaboratively with community-based mental health teams, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to deliver holistic care to patients
Offer consultation and support to primary care providers, schools, and other community agencies involved in the care of young individuals with mental health needs
Participate in regular case reviews, team meetings, and clinical supervision sessions to ensure high-quality, person-centred care delivery
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
Engage in service development activities and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of CAMHS services
