Community Psychiatric Nurse – South Yorkshire – Ongoing Opportunity

Are you a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with community experience seeking an exciting new challenge? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you in South Yorkshire.

Position: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Adults 18-65
Band: 6
Location: South Yorkshire
Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
Schedule: Full-time

Rate of Pay: £25 per hour

A Day in the Life of a Community Psychiatric Nurse:

As an RMN specialising in community care, your role is crucial in delivering comprehensive support to patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting Community Visits: Regularly checking in on patients to ensure their needs are met.
Administering Medication: Ensuring patients receive their medication on time, tailored to their specific needs.
Patient Interaction: Engaging with patients to understand their conditions, aiding in their treatment, and monitoring their progress.
Risk Assessments: Performing necessary evaluations to ensure patients' safety and well-being.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Active NMC Registration: You must be a registered mental health nurse.
Community Experience: Proven experience in a community setting is essential.
Effective Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
