Community Associate - Flexible Workspace Provider

Salary: £31,000 per annum

Location: East London

Are you a natural people person who loves creating welcoming spaces and delivering excellent customer service?

We’re looking for a Community Associate to join a premium flexible workspace, helping to create an environment where members feel supported, connected and valued.

Working closely with the Community Lead, you’ll be the friendly face of the workspace, supporting members and visitors, organising events and helping to keep the building running smoothly. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys combining hospitality, community and day-to-day operations.

What you’ll be doing

Welcoming members and visitors and acting as a first point of contact.

Building relationships with members and helping to create a connected, engaged community.

Responding to enquiries and resolving issues with a proactive, hospitality-led approach.

Organising and running member events, including managing the allocated events budget.

Carrying out building walkthroughs to maintain high presentation and operational standards.

Supporting prospective member enquiries, tours and onboarding.

Helping members with meeting room bookings, move-ins and move-outs.

Creating social media content showcasing the workspace, community and events.

Supporting administration, including updating records, processing payments and managing inboxes.

Developing relationships with relevant local commercial and social partners.

Sharing ideas to improve the member experience and support retention.

What we’re looking for

Experience in hospitality, retail, flexible workspace, events, customer service or another community-focused environment.

A friendly, approachable manner and a passion for looking after people.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Confidence using social media and creating engaging content.

Good organisation skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.

A proactive approach to solving problems and improving the customer experience.

Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.

Confidence using Microsoft Office and relevant CRM or operational systems.
