Job Title: Commissioning Manager
Location: Europe
Reports to: Project Director
Key Accountabilities/Tasks:
● Comply with Project Specifications, Commissioning Plans and Procedures.
● Undertake testing to ensure installation is in accordance with the design.
● Execute Commissioning and Testing across interfaces.
● Maintain associated documentation.
● Assembly of test scripts and commission documentation for record purposes.
● Record any design or As Built Changes as a direct consequence of Commissioning Tests.
● Identify any specialist test equipment and tools
● Review and develop subcontractor commissioning procedures to meet the contract specific requirements for each project.
● Witness commissioning by subcontractor and specialist engineers.
● Attend and witness equipment works tests when required.
● Assist with the preparation/review of works test plans and procedures.
● Direct and support other Commissioning Engineers/Assistant Commissioning Engineers, as required, to perform their duties, taking a lead role on certain areas as directed by the Commissioning Manager/Project Managers.
● Manage programmes in relation to construction activities that directly impact commissioning progress.
● Weekly reporting to senior management identifying progress against schedule, issues arising and constraints.
Essential attributes/Skills/Qualifications:
● Accredited degree in engineering subjects such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.
● Working with PLC’s and being able to identify software bugs during commissioning.
● Proficient in the use of google suite software.
● 5+ years’ experience in a senior commissioning position
● Must be eligible to work in Europe
