Rullion are currently looking to recruit for the following role :

Security Commissioning Engineer
Inside IR35
£350 Per day + Expenses
Travel across the UK
Hybrid Role
ASAP Start
Duration :6 months initially

We are looking for anexperienced commissioning engineer to assist in the commissioning of security networks, CCTV and Access control systems.

Liaise with and take direction from the Project Manager and Commissioning Manager to deliver the commissioning program & strategy for the project in accordance with the technical specification.
Understand the programme for commissioning activities against key milestone dates
Work within project time constraints, identifying and communicating without delay any potential risks to the programme delivery dates or technical solutions offered
Assist with site surveys to evaluate commissioning requirements and potential C&E considerations
Where required, direct and monitor electrical installers to support the project management team and commissioning activities
Audit installations for pre-commissioning & commissioning readiness
Carrying out fault-finding and diagnostics as required
Test and demonstrate commissioned systems to a variety of stakeholders, e.g. internal SIEMENS staff, end user representatives; tests to include cause & effect functionality
Produce Commissioning documentation including documenting commissioning tests, utilise and modify project documentation e.g. project plans, cause and effects, general wiring diagrams to a consistently high level throughout the life of a project for inclusion in project O&M manuals or handover documentation to Service Department
Deliver any required training to end users or their representatives.
Undertake any relevant training as arranged by the Commissioning Manager, e.g. product, H&S etc.
Ensure all relevant H&S requirements are complied with in accordance with SIEMENS processes, current legislation and the procedures specified within the contract.
Ensure compliance with the Siemens and site Quality Procedures.

Skills & Experience Required

Experience of commissioning medium to large scale security systems on utilities sites; knowledge of Axis, Gallagher, Commend and Hirschman switches would be desirable.
Proven experience with commissioning of large multi-disciplined, integrated Security Projects.
SC cleared or must be prepared to undergo security screening for specific projects
Microsoft Office Suite, Excel / Word
Self-motivated flexible individual with the ability to take ownership and responsibility for commissioning tasks, works well within a dynamic team environment
Proven communication skills with an appreciation of contract dynamics
Methodical organisational and documentation skills
Experience of working within commissioning teams, ability to plan-ahead, collaborate and communicate effectively with project team members, suppliers and customers.
Knowledge of IP networking relevant to security systemsIf available please submit CV and a member of the team will be in touch.
