My client is a Tier 1 design & build contractor, they're looking for additional commissioning support for a series of Severn Trent Waste Water projects based around the Birmingham area.

They will require additional engineers for at least 16 months (Contracts due to end at the start of October 2025). Works will largely be electrical with some minor supervision of mechanical works.

Key responsibilities:

* Liase with the design team & sub-contractors to ensure complete commissioning on a project by project basis.

* Management of FAT tests for equipment.

* Capture & management of installation, testing and commissioning.

* Input into Early Contractor Involvement process through site surveys of systems and equipment

* Liaison with STW delivery teams and SAPs.

* Working across the full project cycle commissioning input (from outline design to final commissioning and handover).

* Writing commissioning plans, procedures and carrying out commissioning.

* Review electrical and/or mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, FDS documents, P&I documents and instigate required design change as and when necessary
