About the role

Our client is growing and seeking a Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of innovative lighting control systems across commercial projects. This is a hands-on, site-based position with full training available for trainee-level candidates.

Key responsibilities

* Commission and configure lighting control systems on site

* Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently

* Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams

* Ensure projects meet specifications and deadlines

* Produce clear documentation and reports

* Travel across London and surrounding areas as required

About you (requirements)

* Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication and customer-facing ability

* Willingness to travel within your region

* Experience in commissioning, electrical installation or building services (desirable)

* Trainee applicants welcome with a proactive, hands-on attitude
