Location: London-wide

Salary: Highly competitive DOE

A leading specialist within lighting control solutions is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join its field-based team, working across London. This is a confidential opportunity offered via a recruitment partner on behalf of our client.

The Role – Overview

You will commission, test, set to work and witness lighting control systems, providing both on-site and remote aftercare. The role includes client-facing responsibilities, fault-finding, system optimisation and ongoing maintenance support across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Testing, commissioning and handover of lighting control systems
• Client and engineer training on-site
• Routine PPM works and reactive troubleshooting
• Headend installation and IP network configuration
• Technical advice to end users and contractors
• Daily SARs, snag reports and health check reports
• Maintaining accurate backups and site documentation
• Supporting upgrades, remedial works and RMAs
• Adhering to health & safety standards and site compliance

Requirements & Experience

• 18th Edition electrician (preferred)
• Strong DALI and lighting control knowledge
• Valid ECS / CSCS card
• Experience with IP networks, routers and gateways
• Comfortable with site-based, physical work
• One Saturday per month and occasional out-of-hours work
