1‑Week Assignment (Enhanced DBS Required)
Location: Broadstairs
Dates: 11th–14th August
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable Commis Chef with an enhanced DBS to support a busy kitchen team in Broadstairs for a short-term assignment. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working in a fast-paced environment and can maintain high standards of food preparation and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
* Food preparation including chopping, portioning, and basic cooking tasks
* Supporting the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
* Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards
* Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen cleanliness
* Ensuring smooth service during busy periods
Requirements
* Valid Enhanced DBS
* Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar kitchen role
* Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions
* Strong awareness of food safety and allergen procedures
* Punctual, professional, and able to work independently when needed
Shift Details
* Dates: 11th–14th August
* Hours: 10:00-20:00
* Pay: £16.00 per hour (weekly assignment)
