Description:
Our client manufactures the highest quality aluminium windows and doors supplying both the trade and commercial sectors. They have invested substantially in infrastructure, machinery, and resource and looking to grow the trade sales division and become a key player within the sector.
They are recruiting a Commercial Area Sales Manager who will have a defined territory across Gloucester, looking for new commercial business. You will be required to attend meetings at the Head Office in Somerset periodically, to report on monthly activity. The role will be to drive new business opportunities through local authorities, specifiers, contractors, industrial clients and end users. The role will require a high level of detail from you to assist the estimation team. Working on your own initiative with minimum supervision, you will be expected to build a solid customer base and manage all aspect of the sales process from cradle to grave.
The ideal candidate will have a technical understanding, ideally from a contracting or an estimating background.
You must have previous commercial experience selling aluminium window & doors, roller shutters and commercial doors and be able to price and manage quotations to a conclusion. Applicant must hold a full driving licence.
