Location: Leicestershire
Contract Details: Full-time position

About Our Client:
Our client is a leading retail organisation with a strong presence in the industry. With their commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, they have experienced rapid growth and success. As they continue to expand their operations, they are looking for a skilled Commercial Property Accountant to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate financial records for commercial property portfolios in the UK
Oversee the preparation and submission of rent, rates, and service charge invoices
Managine credit noties, internal invoices
Dealing with landlords and their queries
Monitor and analyse property revenue and expenditure
Producing yearly turnover cerficates for properties
Working closely with solicitors to ensure on time payments
Conduct regular financial reporting and provide insights to senior management
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely payments and accurate reconciliation of accounts
Support the annual budgeting process and assist with financial forecasts
Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies
Stay updated with industry regulations and standards related to commercial property accountingEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience in commercial property accounting or similar role
Strong understanding of rent, rates, and service charges
Proficiency in financial data analysis and reporting
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Solid knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational and time management skillsDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Part qualified in ACCA or CIMA
Experience in the retail industryTechnologies:
Proficiency in accounting software in Sage 50
